Mr. Arnold Gene Edge,, 76 Sr.

ROSEBORO

Mr. Arnold Gene Edge, Sr., 76 of 10424 Roseboro Highway, Roseboro, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at the UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, May 7 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with Reverend Greg Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Salemburg.

Mr. Edge was a native of Cumberland County, the son of the late Hilburn Jasper and Lillian Irene Harris Edge. He was a retired truck driver.

He is survived by his wife, Pat Edge of the home; son, Arnold Edge, Jr. and wife Sherry of Roseboro; two granddaughters, Beth Barfield and Stephanie Baldwin; two great grandsons, Everett Barfield and Sawyer Baldwin.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm on Saturday at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro, and at other times at the home.
