STEDMAN Mr. Archie Carl Kitchen, Jr., 59 of 800 Stedman Cedar Creek Road, died on Sunday, June 2, 2013 at his home. The funeral will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Woodruff officiating. Burial will follow at the Coston Hales Family Cemetery in Roseboro. Mr. Kitchen was born on September 13, 1953 in Cumberland County to the late Archie Carl and Dorothy Farrell Kitchen, Sr. He is preceded in death by: his parents; father-in-law, Coston Hales; and brother-in-law, J-Bird Hales. He was a loving husband, father, brother and Papa Carl. He was hard working and was compassionate, loving and generous to all he knew. He worked as an Auto Mechanic for 43 years. He is survived by: his wife, Judy Hales Kitchen of the home; two daughters, Maranda Kitchen of Stedman and Kimberly Hemphill and husband J.J. of Bunnlevel; two sons, Scooter Kitchen of Fayetteville and Jerry Beard of Spring Lake; one brother, Bert Kitchen and wife Betty of Eastover; one sister, Dorothy Anderson of Hope Mills; eight grandchildren, Isabelle, Ethan, Harlee, Abby, Logan, Hayley, Gage and David; mother-in-law, Virglene Hales of Roseboro; sisters-in-laws Gale Bullard and husband Larry, Sue Porter, JoAnn Hales and Rhonda Jessup; brothers-in-law, Tom Thumb Hales and Roger Jessup; and numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro and other times at the home. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 W.
