DUNN
Mrs. Antonietta Polintan Averitt, 88, of Dunn passed away Friday, July 18 at Betsy Johnson Hospital. She was a homemaker and loving mother. She was born January 17, 1926 in the Philippine city of San Fernando, in the province of Pampanga. She was one of eighteen children of the late Modesto Polintan and Andrea Gordillo Polintan. She is also predeceased by four sisters, Asunson Valte, Virgie Polintan, Carmen Henson and Gloria Polintan; and three brothers, Modesto Polintan, Isidro Polintan and Alfred Polintan.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Monday, July 21 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman with Rev. Lee Faircloth officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Monday prior to the service. Interment will be at Lafayette Memorial Park immediately following the service.
She is survived by daughter, Debbie Averitt Ramphal of Dunn; son, C. B. Averitt, Jr. and wife, Cindy of South Carolina; sisters, Isabelita Polintan of California, Nicomedes Robles of Connetticut, Florence Halili of California, Angela DeGuzman , Grace Politan, Alejandria Quiwa and a brother, Dionisio Polintan all of the Phillippines; grandchildren, Wesley Kidd, Mallory Brown and husband, Emory Brown, and Margo Averitt and Bradford Averitt; great grandchildren, Savannah, Caroline and Bradley Brown.
