Antoni (Ross) Mallett Oser

March 15, 1941 — February 13, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Toni, who departed from this world on      February 13, 2025 at the age of 83.  Toni was a beloved mother, grandmother, wife and sister and was also a cherished friend to many.  She was born on March 15, 1941, in Columbia, South Carolina and passed on February 13, 2025.  Toni lived a life filled with love, kindness, and dedication to those around her.

Toni and her siblings grew up in and around Cumberland County North Carolina (NC), where they spent their early years surrounded by family and friends.  Toni graduated from Fayetteville High where she developed a love for all things business and finance.  Toni took this passion into her extensive Federal Government career starting as a commissary worker at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky to Chief of Civilian pay at Ft. Bragg and finally as Chief of Civilian pay over all of Europe and part of Asia.

Toni was first married to Floyd Raymond Mallett Jr. from 1959 to 1972 and finally to the love of her life  Peter Karl Oser.  They were married for 35 years until his passing on April 14, 2024.  Together they built a beautiful life filled with cherished memories and shared dreams.  Toni and Peter met and married in Heidelberg, Germany on January 5, 1989, and later moved to the states settling in Little Washington, NC where they opened the very successful Carolina House Bed and Breakfast.  They ran it until 2009 when they retired and moved to Holly Ridge to be near their children.  She was a devoted mother and grandmother and took great pride in her family. She is survived by her sister Deborah Ball and brother Ron Ross, and her two children Antora Rayne Autry and Floyd Raymond Mallett.  She is also survived by her five Grandchildren; Raymond Mallett, Robert Chad Mallett, Sean Gregory Mallett, Tianah Irene Mallett (Boyd) Lilith Anne Mallett (Burnett) and Taelyor Marie Autry.  She is also survived by thirteen Great grandchildren; Raymond Michael Mallett, Larry Clinton Boyd, Landon Manuel Boyd, Pressley Jane Boyd, Jack Sawyer Boyd, Aurora Marie Sample, Luke Joseph Sample, Killian David Sample, Mason Manuel Mallett, Nash Robert Mallett, Little Miss Parker Brooke Mallett, Blake Ray Burnett and the soon to be      Rowan John Burnett who will continue to honor both of their legacies.
