ROSEBORO

Mr. Anthony Dwayne Smith, 54 of 834 Butler Island Road, Roseboro, passed away Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

The funeral will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, July 25, at Butler Funeral Home with Reverend Bryan Strickland officiating. Burial will follow at Roseboro Cemetery.

Born January 4, 1963 in Cumberland County, he was the son of Gordon Franklin and Mable Lee Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gordon Franklin Smith, Jr.; and sister, Ann Smith. He worked as a Forklift Operator with Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company of Fayetteville.

He is survived by his wife, Kim White Smith; sister, Lynn Seastrom and husband Bob of Virginia; sister-in-law, Pam Cain and husband Terry of Shelby; brother-in-law, Hughie White and wife Carrie of Roseboro; nieces and nephews, Spencer Creswell and husband Casey, Matthew Cain, Trey White, Kaycie White; and a great niece, Elsie Leigh Creswell.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Monday, July 24, at Butler Funeral Home and other times at the home.
