Mrs. Annie Louise Ford, 79

June 22, 1936 — April 20, 2016

AUTRYVILLE Mrs. Annie Louise Ford, 79 of Autryville, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Betsy Johnson Hospital in Dunn. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday at Mount Carmel Church of God of Prophecy, Autryville, with Bishop Warren H. Barfield, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. She was a native of Sampson County, the daughter of the late Paul and Jincie Williams. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Albert Layton Ford and Carl Sherwood Tart; and her brothers, Jake Williams, Bobby Williams, Johnny Williams, Noah Williams, and Roy Williams. There was a love and calling on her life which was teaching and sharing the word of God. After many years of factory work and eventual retirement her life was fulfilled working with the Senior Citizens at the Clement Senior Center. Truly her enjoyments in life were times with her family and her times with a fishing pole at any pond of water. She survived by three children, Kenneth Dwight Ford of Autryville, Elwyn Glenn Ford and wife Donna of Dunn, and Karen Ford Wooten of Benson; one step daughter, Ginger Tart of Dunn; five grandchildren, Keli Ford Sykes and husband David of Fayetteville, Lynsie Wooten Wokasch and husband Bryan of Clayton, Sara Ford Hall and husband Randy of Wake Forest, Adam Ford and Jessica Vickery of Dunn, and Lauren Ford Carter and husband Josh of Smithfield; step grandchildren, Candice Hall of Dunn, and Melanie Hall of Fayetteville; ten great grandchildren; five brothers and sisters, Paulette Autry, Richard Williams and wife Louise, Carol Morales, Paul Williams and wife Patsy, and Gloria Records and husband Eugene all of Autryville. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 pm Friday at the Mount Carmel Church Family Life Center, 1655 Mt. Carmel Church Road, Autryville, NC. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro, NC.
