ROSEBORO
Mrs. Anna Margaret Fann, 78 of 226 Garden Lane, Roseboro, died on Monday, December 2, 2013 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.
The funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Piney Green Baptist Church with Rev. Donald Keith Carter officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Fann was a native of Sampson County, the daughter of the late Clayton and Loleta Fann Strickland. She was the wife of 62 beautiful years to husband, Royce Fann and they were the owners of Lakewood Plaza Restaurant. She is preceded in death by three sisters, Elizabeth Autry, Gray Pope and Josephine Thornton.
She is survived by: her husband, Royce Fann of the home; four children, Tommy Fann and wife Pat of Clinton, Dale Fann and wife Connie of Godwin, Joe Fann of Roseboro, and Denise Hobson and husband Tommy of Roseboro; siblings, Charles Strickland of Clinton, Harold Strickland of Clinton, Carolyn Reynolds of Garner, Barbara Butler of Clinton, Glenn Strickland of Clinton, Brenda Wainwright of Angier and Ann Tyndall of Clinton. She was blessed by having seven grandchildren, six step-grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Many days were spent with her special little girl, "Brandi".
The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro and other times at the home of her daughter, 270 Garden Lane, Roseboro.
