Mrs. Ann Ernestine Sessoms Nunnery, 83 of Stedman passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at her home.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, Dec. 28 at Concord Baptist Church with Rev. Larry West officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Nunnery was a native of Sampson County, the daughter of the late Thomas Edison and Nannie Ola Taylor Sessoms.  She was the widow of the late Bobby Nunnery.  She was a teacher's assistant for the Cumberland County Schools and a North Carolina Foster Mother for many years.

She is survived by one son, Danny Gray Nunnery and spouse, Kathi; one daughter, Judy Latza and husband, James; eight grandchildren, Bradley Latza and wife, Chasity, Brittany Latza, Edward Nunnery, Brycen Latza, Brendan Latza, Brayden Latza, Brentley Latza and Brighten Latza; two great grandchildren, Marcue Latza and Tucker Latza; four sisters, Edith Hall, Martha Carlisle, Myrtle Coberly and Wanda Wirth; and numerous children that she loved and cared for through the years.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Thursday, Dec. 27 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman.
