Andrew “Andy” Neil McCall was born April 9, 1979 in Fayetteville, NC to Jerry McCall, Jr. and Anita McCall.  He unexpectedly passed away in his sleep from a grand mal seizure on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at his parent’s home.

Andy was a graduate of Cape Fear High School Class of 1997, where he was a member of the baseball & football teams.  He enjoyed travelling around the western United States cooking at different resorts.

Andy is survived by his parents, Jerry McCall, Jr. & Anita McCall; sister, Alison McCall Lassiter (Robert) all of Stedman; aunts & uncles, Donna McCall Bullard (LC) of Stedman, Phillip McCall (Sue) of Eastover, and Terri Herring Falls (Billy) of Bessemer City, NC; first cousins, Ben Herring (Kenya) of Newnan, GA, Amanda & LeRae Falls of Bessemer City, NC; nephew & niece, Jeron & Evita Lassiter of Stedman; as well as a number of extended cousins and family.

The family will receive friends & visitors from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Sunday, August 8, 2021 in the fellowship hall at Cokesbury United Methodist Church in Stedman.  In light of the fact that Andy was not a “suit and tie” man, the family requests casual dress for the visitation.  A private family only graveside service will be held at a later date officiated by Rev. Debbie Matthis at McCall Family cemetery.
