Amos Kirkland Cain, Jr., 80, of Towers West, Executive Place, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 15, 2021.
He is proceeded in death by his former wife, Nellie Hall; his parents, Amos Kirkland Cain, Sr., and Etta Lee Owen Cain of Fayetteville.
Mr. Cain was born in Bladen County, attended Stedman High School, and retired after a long career with Budweiser as a Route Manager in Fayetteville.
He was a devoted Carolina Fan, a lover of gospel music, and he was affiliated with the ministry of Cumberland Union Baptist Church.
He is survived by his three children, Lisa Cain Hall, and husband, Randy of Caperon, Florida, Anthony Cain of Alabama, and Michele Cain Bordeaux, and husband, Jason Bordeaux; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; three sisters, Frances Cain Dickson, Jacqueline Cain Hood, Nancy Cain Smith; one brother, Andy Cain and wife, Jennifer all of Fayetteville. He is also survived by many special nieces, nephews, and friends in the golfing community.
Funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Cumberland Union Baptist Church, burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church from 11:00 AM to 11:50 AM on Tuesday prior to the service.
Masks are not required, but are suggested for the comfort of all who come to show their respects.
In lieu of floral tributes, the family request that memorials go to Cumberland Union Baptist Church, 6957 Tabor Church Road, Fayetteville, NC 28312
