AUTRYVILLE
Mr. Amos Murray Bullard, 83 of 1350 Carry Bridge Road, Autryville, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at his home.
The funeral will be held at 3:00 pm Friday, February 12, at Pleasant Union Baptist Church, 2300 Pleasant Union Road, Roseboro, with Reverend Paul Honeycutt officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.
Mr. Bullard was born April 25, 1932 in Sampson County and is preceded in death by his parents, George Thomas and Martha Esther Gilchrist Bullard; and two brothers, Edward Lamar Bullard, Thomas Allen Bullard. He was a life-long farmer and worked as a Mail Carrier.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Lou Bullard of the home; two daughters, Cherry Bullard Naylor and husband Wayne of Clinton, Martha Bullard Gilbert and husband Nathan of Charlotte; three sons, George Murray Bullard and wife Jennifer of August, GA, Jonathan Bullard and wife Debra of Autryville, Amos Gibson Bullard of Clinton; one sister, Mary Elizabeth Hairr and husband Homer of Salemburg; three grandchildren, Chris Naylor and wife Tonya, Amy Horne, Tracy Johnson and husband Chad; and three great grandchildren, Warren Naylor, Teddy Horne, Austin Marshburn.
The visitation will be held from 2:00 to 2:45 pm Friday, February 12, at Pleasant Union Baptist Church, Roseboro, and other times at the home.
