Alma Gray (Tew) Pollard

Mrs. Alma Gray Tew Pollard, 87 of Supply, passed away Friday, October 26, 2018 at her home.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00pm Sunday, November 4, at First Baptist Church of Erwin, 300 S. 12th Street, Erwin, with Rev. Thomas Greene and Rev. Don Pollard officiating.  Burial will follow at Erwin Memorial Park, S. 18th Street, Erwin.

Mrs. Pollard was born December 14, 1930 in Harnett County and was the daughter of Wiley Buck and Lucille Keen Tew.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Hugh Donald Pollard, Sr.; and her sister, Vernell Tew Porter.  She was employed in the cafeteria at Erwin High School while her children attended school there, then worked as an X-ray technician at Good Hope Hospital.

She is survived by one daughter, Donna P. Williford ( husband Mike ); two sons, Hugh Donald Pollard, Jr. ( wife Mindy ), William Keith Pollard ( wife Pam ); ten grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren; one brother, Wiley Buck Tew, Jr. ( wife Terri ).

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 2:45pm prior to the funeral service.
