Mr. Allen Erastus Hall, 89 went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 09, 2025 surrounded by his family.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, May 16, 2025 at Autryville Baptist Church, officiating will be Pastor Alan Roberts. Burial will follow in the Butler Family Cemetery in Autryville.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 10:50 AM Friday at the church prior to the service.
Allen was born in Sampson County to the late Harvey Pritchard Hall and Mary Jane Naylor Hall. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by his wife, Lois Evolene Riley Hall; and his siblings, Marie Faircloth, Louise Horne, Iskey Cain, Mary “Pete” Faircloth, James Hall, Walter “Tug” Hall, Wilma Faircloth and Edna Hall.
Allen was born in Autryville, he later moved to Burlington where he lived and worked before moving to Raleigh. In 2016 he returned to Autryville to the home he grew up in. He was a longtime member of Autryville Baptist Church where he was a Deacon. Allen’s strong Christian faith and the way he lived his life, was an example to his family and everyone that knew him. He had a great sense of humor, and loved a good joke.
He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Lois Hall of Raleigh; sons, David Hall & wife, Nancy of Zebulon, and Kevin Hall of Raleigh; grandchildren, David Hall, Jr. & wife, Victoria of Fuquay Varina, and Matthew Hall of Zebulon; great grandchildren, Hunter Dettinger, Chase Hall and Evvie Hall; and niece, Barbara Hall of Autryville.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Allen's memory to Autryville Baptist Church, 425 E. Williams Street, Autryville, NC 28318.
