Alice Jane (Lockamy) Sessoms

ROSEBORO Mrs. Alice Jane Sessoms, 87 of Roseboro, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Highland House Rehabilitation in Fayetteville. The funeral service will be held at 3:00pm Sunday, December 16, at Peniel Pentecostal Holiness Church, 3681 Dunn Road, Roseboro, with Reverend George Terry and Reverend Jeff Bartlett officiating.  Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 2:45pm prior to the service. She was born April 11, 1931 in Sampson County and was preceded in death by her parents, Mack and Maggie Bass Lockamy; husband, Eulie Marvin Sessoms; children, Faye Bullard, and Brenda Sessoms; and a grandchild, John.  She was a homemaker. She is survived by her children, Keith Sessoms (wife, Marie) of Roseboro, Julie Starling (husband, Grady) of Fayetteville, and Ronald Sessoms (wife, Sue) of Roseboro; grandchildren, Sam, T.J., Luke, Shannon, Brandon, Grady Jr., Halie, Dustin, and Emily; nine great grandchildren, and brother, Lester Lockamy. Butler Funeral Home of Roseboro is serving the family.
