Alice Faye (Bullard) Williams

Mrs. Alice Faye Williams, 83, of Fayetteville, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at Grand Stand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, SC.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Macedonia Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Judson Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 – 11:50 AM on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at the church prior to the service.

Faye was born on October 31, 1940 to Nellie and James K. Bullard. She lived most of her early life with her two aunts. Four years before her marriage, she lived with Bradley and Eloise Jordan. Faye retired from Sun Oil Company as a Terminal Manager and Cape Fear Valley Medical Center as an MRI Coordinator. She was an avid supporter of North Carolina Baptist Men Disaster Relief. She sang in the choir, taught Sunday School classes and youth organizations in many Baptist Churches in Cumberland County. Faye spent two years in Bayboro, NC with Gerald serving NC Baptist on mission rebuilding flooded houses.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James K. and Nellie Bullard; her foster parents, Bradley and Eloise Jordan; sister, Joyce O’Neal; and two brothers, Morris Nance and Milton Jordan.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Rev. Gerald Williams; daughter, Kyra Faye Williams (Terri) of Wilmington; son, Gavin Reynolds of Conway, SC; brother, AJ Jordan of Stedman; sister-in-law, Betty McCall of Stedman; cherished three nephews and four nieces; and her fur baby, Caramel.
