Mr. Alex Dean Bearden, 50

SALEMBURG Mr. Alex Dean Bearden, 50 of 102 Laurel Lake Road, Salemburg, passed away Friday, October 2, 2015 at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill. A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, October 6 at Sunrise Memorial Gardens, S. Salemburg Highway, Salemburg, with Reverend Andy Wood officiating. Mr. Bearden was born December 23, 1964 in Hollywood, Florida, to Gary R. and Marguerite Lohnes Bearden. He is preceded in death by his mother; and one brother, Jody Kenneth Bearden. He is survived by his father, Gary R. Bearden of the home; two brothers, Glenn Paul of Atlanta, GA, and Fred Paul of Orlando, FL; and one sister, Bonnie Jackson of Greenville, NC. The family will receive friends 7:00 to 9:00 pm Monday, October 5 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro and other times at the home. Services by Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro.
