Mrs. Alene Autry Coats

STEDMAN Mrs. Alene Autry Coats, 87, of 6554 Maxwell Road, Stedman, died Monday, October 22, at Bethesda Health Care Facility in Fayetteville. She was retired from Sears after 25 years of service. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, October 25 at Bethany United Methodist Church with Rev. Milton Little and Rev. Mitch Minson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery Mrs. Coats is survived by a daughter, Helen Rose Autry Williams and husband Wendell of Wade; a son, Charles E. Autry and wife Arlene of Naples, Fla.; two stepsons, Bobby Coats of Fayetteville and Eugene Coats of Wilmington; a sister, Ernestine Fogleman and husband Claude of Greensboro; three grandchildren; two step grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 6 to 8 P.M.
