Albert Hunter Smith, 68

FAYETTEVILLE Mr. Albert Hunter Smith, 68, of Cedar Creek Road died Thursday, November 6 at Highsmith-Rainey Specialty Hospital. He was the owner and operator of Massey Hill Drug Co. for many years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Williams Smith. A funeral service will be held at 3:30 P.M., Sunday, November 9 at Judson Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Smith is survived by a son, James Haywood Smith, Sr. of Fayetteville; a daughter, Susan Smith Hoover of Charlotte; six grandchildren, Ashley Smith, James H. Smith, Jr., Hunter Smith, III, Charlie Smith, Matthew Hoover and Bradley Smith. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 3:30 P.M., Sunday at the church prior to the funeral.
