GARLAND

Mr. Alba Neal Johnson, 62 of 647 Davis Road, Garland, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at his home with his family by his side.

The funeral will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Butler Funeral Home, Roseboro, with Rev. Gary Avery officiating. Burial will follow at Cypress Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

He was born on August 22, 1952 in Bladen County to the late Alba Dewey and Mirtis Culbreth Johnson. He is preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Sue Townsend and Gail Norris. He worked as a Truck Driver.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Pearsall Johnson of the home; son, Eric Johnson and wife Haley of Clayton; daughter, Tammy Nicole Smith and husband Ray of Garland; grandchildren, Tiffany Gail Lee of Garland, Emeri Johnson of Clayton; great granddaughter, Kayden Kelly Lee Robinson of Garland; and sister, Julie Johnson and husband Jimmy Womble of Fayetteville.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 P.M. Thursday at Butler Funeral Home, Roseboro, and other times at the home.
