Mrs. Agnes Warren Tanner, 90

Salemburg Mrs. Agnes Warren Tanner, 90, of 203 S. Main Street, died on Friday, August 12, 2011 at Mary Gran Nursing Center in Clinton. A funeral service will be held on Monday, Aug. 15, 2011 at 11:00 am at Salemburg Baptist Church with the Rev. Roger White, Rev. John Adams and Rev. William Tew officiating. Burial will follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Tanner was born on 1921 in Sampson County to the late Junius and Lula Crumpler Warren. She was an LPN at Sampson Memorial Hospital before retiring. Mrs. Tanner is survived by: son, Edwin Tanner and wife Gail, of Salemburg; three grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 6 till 8 pm at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.
