Mrs. Agnes Mae (Nunnery) Horne, 95 passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Starling Cemetery with Mr. David Brossia officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:30 – 11:00 AM at the cemetery prior to the service.

Mrs. Horne was a native of Sampson County, the daughter of Alex and Mary Faircloth Nunnery. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leonard F. Horne; two sons, Donald Horne and Arthur Horne; three grandsons, Michael Hocutt, Leonard B. Horne and Justin Jackson; her granddaughter, Lisa Horne; three brothers, Jasper Nunnery, Royce Nunnery and Jennings Nunnery; and four sisters, Pearl Snell, Clethy Hall, Jeanette Hamilton and Lucille Wiggs.

She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Reba Hocutt and Brenda Sinclair; her son, Douglas Horne; fifteen grandchildren and twenty-five great – grandchildren.
