AUTRYVILLE Mr. Abner Eustace Hales, 69 of 1778 Leroy Autry Road, Autryville, died on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at The Carrol S. Roberson Hospice Center in Fayetteville. The funeral will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at Butler Funeral Home with Dr. Odell Peterson officiating. Burial will follow at the Hall's United Methodist Church Cemetery in Autryville. Mr. Hales was born on May 6, 1942 in Cumberland County to the late Abner Levite and Mittie Mae Cannady Hales. He retired as a Mechanic with MJ Soffe Company. He is survived by: his sister, Magdalene Hales Hall and husband, Earl of Autryville; one niece and four nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 1:30 to 3:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro and other times at the home of his sister, 9627 Ruth Vinson Road, Autryville.
