ROSEBORO, NC
Mr. William Haywood "Woody" Faircloth, 68 of Roseboro, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, April 22, at Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro, with Pastor Bryan Strickland officiating. Burial will follow at Roseboro Cemetery.
He was born on December 16, 1950 and was a native of Sampson County. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Manley and Bertha Parker Faircloth; one sister, Ann Long; and a nephew, Dwayne Armstrong. He was a Veteran of the US Army and worked as a Swine Manager with Prestage Farms.
He is survived by his daughter, Lorrie Camp of Florida; son, Woody Faircloth of Florida; five grandchildren, and two great grandchildren; two sisters, Susan Armstrong of New Bern, Wendy Butler of Roseboro; one brother, Manley Faircloth of Roseboro; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-1:50 pm on Monday prior to the funeral service, and at other times the family will receive friends at the home of Wendy and Keith Butler, 1700 Mintz Road, Roseboro.
