Veronica Vain (Fisher) Thompson

WHITEVILLE, NC

Ms. Veronica Vain Fisher Thompson, 54 of Whiteville, passed away Monday, November 19, 2018 at Columbus Regional Medical Center.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Sunday, November 25, at Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro, with Reverend Michael Salisbury and Reverend Bryan Strickland officiating.  Burial will follow at Stedman Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery, 5371 NC Highway 210 S., Stedman.

She was born March 30, 1964 in Frankfurt, Germany and was preceded in death by one daughter, Dana Royal.  She was an avid animal lover and she worked as an I.T. Specialist.

She is survived by her mother and step-father, Vivian and Bill Nunnery of Garland; her father, Stormy Sargent of Stedman; two daughters, Christina Stephenson of Charlotte, and Vicky Krass of Ohio; one son, Kaleb Royal of Whiteville; one brother, Michael Fisher of Fayetteville; two sisters, Kaye Nunnery of Fayetteville, and Vivian Maney of Richlands; and three grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:45pm prior to the funeral service.

Flowers are welcome, or memorials may be made to one's local humane society.
