Lilma Gray (Jackson) Odum

Mrs. Lilma Gray Odum, 75 passed away Thursday, November 15 2018, at the home of her daughter in Kingsport, TN.

Services will be held at 3:00pm Monday, November 19, at Mill Creek Baptist Church   in Roseboro with Rev. Tom Hayes officiating.   Interment will follow in church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 2:45pm prior to the funeral service.

On November 15th 2018 Lilma Odum 75 made her final destination and arrived at the feet of God. She was born January 12, 1943 to Zeb and Katie Jackson of Beaverdam, North Carolina.

On July 15 1961 she married the love of her life James Franklin Odum. She was a graduate of Stedman High School and retired from Lundy Packing Company.

Lilma is survived by her husband of 57 plus years, Daughters, Pam Goodchild and husband Ron of Denver Colorado. Kathy Cole and husband John of Kingsport Tennessee. Grandchildren, Johnathan and Jamie Price, Jessica Wagner, Misty Reed and fiance Joey Bailey, Jackie and Joseph Young. Lilma also had 7great grandchildren Karil Reed, Kayne Bailey, Kensley Bailey, Kalynn Price, Madison Price, Joseph Young and Ryan Young.

Special sister-in-laws, Ellen Williams, Margaret Synder and Louise Carter.  Several nieces, nephews and special neighbors that she held dear to her heart, Terrance and Wendy Sessoms and Della and Randy Sessoms.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Jason Boyd and staff of South Eastern Oncology, Amedisys of Kingsport, TN and Special Hospice Nurse, Tyrell.
