AUTRYVILLE
Mr. Lawrence Ray Beasley, 75 of Autryville, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
The funeral service will be held at 3:00pm on Wednesday, December 19, at Mount Carmel Church of God of Prophecy, 1655 Mt. Carmel Church Road, Autryville, with Bishop Warren Barfield, Sr., Reverend Billy Bass, and Reverend Teresa Ammons officiating. Burial will follow at Roseboro Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00pm on Tuesday evening at Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro.
He was born August 25, 1943 in Sampson County and was the son of the late Lawrence Belton and Irene Faircloth Beasley. He worked as a car dealer.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Parker Beasley of the home; three daughters, Deborah Barbour of the home, Gloria Johnson (husband, Emory) of Raleigh, and Betty Smith of Salemburg; one sister, Estelle Owens (husband, Cloys) of Roseboro; five step-children, Tamera Terrell, Donna Kay Jackson, Donald Ray Parker, Carolyn Sue Edwards, and Catherine Renee Badillo; six grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren, and eight step-great grandchildren.
