SALEMBURG
Mrs. Ann Holland Eacret, 80 of Salemburg, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at UNC Hospitals.
The funeral service will be held at 2:45pm Sunday, December 16, at Salemburg Baptist Church, 300 N. Main Street, Salemburg, with Reverend John Adams officiating. Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 2:30pm prior to the service.
She was born February 25, 1938 in Sampson County and was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Alma Warren Holland; her husband, Bennie "Ben" Eacret, Jr.; a sister, Kathleen Holland; and a brother, Ronald Holland.
She is survived by her children, Brenda Ann Harrison (husband, Dr. Michael) of Texas, Keith Jones (wife, Mary Anne) of Illinois, Terry Eacret of Raleigh, Larry Eacret (wife, Jennifer) of Cary, Gordon Eacret of New Mexico, and Mitch Eacret of Arkansas; grandchildren, Heather Ann Harrison, Brandon Jones, Brooke Jones, Maya Eacret, and Nolan Eacret; sisters, Peggy Lee of Mt. Olive, Stella McDonald of Salemburg, Faye Howell of Mt. Olive, and Gail Jerson of Salemburg; brothers, Leon Holland (wife, Diane) of Roseboro, and Joe Holland (wife, Carolyn) of Salemburg; and sister-in-law, Carolyn Worley Holland of Roseboro.
